Happiness = Wellness "Experiment"

  • It's been said that it takes 21 days to either make/break a habit.
The good news is ... Habits are easier to make than they are to break!  The human brain adapts quickly, so when you repeat a behavior, you establish synaptic pathways in a well worn pattern.
  • But does it really take 21 days?
Everyone's brain is different ... Habit formation or the process by which new behaviors become automatic are determined by many factors including experience, personality & reward reinforcement.
  • Small Changes can make a BIG Difference!
(Especially if we're paying attention!) I hope you'll join us for 21 days and that for the rest of the month you'll simply WANT to keep going!
  • The Plan...
Starting March 1 and everyday for the next 21-31 days...
  1. Gratitude Journal: 3 entries per day. Be Specific! Why?  Entries must be new/different EVERY day ... NO repeats!
  2. Random Acts of Kindness: Start out with 1 per day and work our way up to 5!
  3. Positive Pondering: Take 2 minutes per day to write/type every detail you can recall about the best thing that happened during your day.
  4. Quiet Time: Start with 30 seconds, work our way up to 2 minutes.
  5. Exercise a minimum of 3x a week.
  6. Bonus Activities: Daily Challenges and Sharing.
In depth detail will be delineated here at The Susette Gazette.

There is no charge to participate. Happiness & improved wellness are part & parcel of the process.  As long as you mindfully participate, they are yours FREE for the taking ... and better yet, FREE to give away.

To Journal/Track: You will need to be able to access all days entries. You can be as low or high tech as you want... from pencil & paper on a notepad to creating a text document on your smart phone, laptop, iPad, etc. Calendar will be available for reference here.

... 5, 6, 7, 8!

Welcome!

This is my first foray into the blog-o-sphere. I've often thought I had the voice for this venue, but I just needed a purpose in putting it out there. And rather than fully thresh it out, I'm hoping that you, the readers, will thresh it out with me and join me in your comments to create something bigger and better than I could have on my own.

Are you ready to be motivated, challenged, moved and inspired in the days, weeks and months to come?!

We step off ... February 1.

:) Susanne
